Delivery Enablement Lead
The Portfolio Office function within Gas Networks Ireland is responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight for the delivery of all capital and operational work within the organisation, enabling it to make key decisions that will optimise the overall delivery of GNI’s portfolio of work. The portfolio office provides support and oversight in the areas of Portfolio Planning and Governance, Assurance and Programme Management, Connections Coordination, Delivery Enablement, Land Management and Statutory Consents, and Commercial Management; whilst also acting as the gate keeper and critical interface between potential investment programmes and commercial opportunities; and the core departments responsible for the delivery, operation and maintenance of GNI’s assets.
Reporting to the Delivery Enablement Manager, the Delivery Enablement Lead will be accountable for defining, developing, and embedding capital delivery processes that support efficient, high-quality project and programme delivery across GNI. The role will focus on the practical design and implementation of end-to-end capital processes, ensuring they are clear, usable and proportionate. The Delivery Enablement Lead will work closely with delivery teams, programme managers, and key support functions to embed consistent ways of working across the capital lifecycle.

Delivery Enablement Manager

This role will lead a team that is focused on ensuring that projects and programmes are set up for success from initiation through to handover by embedding consistent standards, clear processes, and strong delivery capability across the organisation and its delivery partners. The role will work closely with Investment Planning & Governance, Portfolio Management, Commercial, and Asset Delivery teams to proactively anticipate portfolio needs and support the achievement of GNI’s investment plan.

Consents and Agency Lead

They will be responsible for the provision of expertise and working knowledge in relation to consents and agency stakeholder management to enable Asset Delivery to proactively take projects through the processes of agreeing, coordinating and implementing third party agencies and consents requirements.

Land Management Lead (x2)

Portfolio Planning Lead

Project Controls Manager

Reporting to the Portfolio Manager, the Project Controls Manager will be responsible for developing and managing project control functions for GNI’S capital delivery projects and programmes. They will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the key elements that ensure a project is delivered on time, within budget and in alignment with scope requirements. They will be an enabler of successful project and programme delivery across the capital portfolio through streamlined day to day management of projects and ensure projects and programmes are delivered effectively and consistently. They will be an enabler of informed decision making, increased project efficiency and productivity, reliable scheduling and forecasting, improved risk and change management and ultimately a better ability to deliver strategic outcomes.
This is a key role within the Portfolio Office and within the Assets and Infrastructure Directorate and the successful candidate will need to utilise a multidisciplinary approach to establish and maintain close liaison with key stakeholders across the organisation. -

Project Delivery Engineer (DX Programmes)
The Asset Delivery function within Gas Networks Ireland is responsible for the end to end planning, designing and delivery of GNI’s portfolio of asset development programmes. The Asset Delivery function brings together all the technical and project support capabilities needed to take high-level projects and programmes from the Portfolio Office and translate these through from detailed design and project planning, to construction delivery and handover to Asset Operations.
Reporting to the Project Delivery Lead, the Project Delivery Engineer will be responsible for supporting the end to end planning and delivery of DX high volume projects/programmes issued to their respective workstream by the Portfolio Office. The Project Delivery Engineer will work closely with key internal stakeholders across the Portfolio Office, Asset Management, Technical Development & Technical Training, Design Delivery and Project Services teams; to drive the successful development and delivery of these projects from Gate 2 through to Gate 4.
