Communications Lead
Gas Networks Ireland (GNI) has been tasked by the government with developing a Strategic Gas Emergency Reserve (SGER). GNI has created a dedicated Project team, responsible for developing a comprehensive business case and programme plan for delivery. There is a requirement for an SGER Communications Lead to manage and lead communications activities under the Project. Reporting to the Programme Director, the SGER Communications Lead will work closely with the project team to ensure that technical communications are effectively delivered. They will be responsible for understanding and ensuring compliance with statutory obligations regarding communications on infrastructure development. They will work closely with the GNI Communications and Internal Communications teams to ensure alignment with GNI communications as appropriate. They will work closely with the wider Communications team to amplify messaging on social and digital media, internal communications and with key external stakeholders. The role of the SGER Communications Lead is to inform and support how the general public, customers and stakeholders (community and decision makers) think and feel about the project, ensuring communications are aligned to project need, requirements and objectives. They will create content that helps to shape the story of how the project will safeguard Ireland’s energy security, through marketing, public relations, advertising, social and digital media, and cross functional teamwork.
PMO Lead
Reporting to the SGER PMO ( Project Management Office ) Manager, the PMO Lead will be responsible for managing a wide range of standard PMO activities that will ensure the project is managed in a structured and organised manner. This is a critical role to the running of the project and will see the PMO Lead engaging with a high number of senior stakeholders across the project team and the wider supporting business.
Regulatory Analyst
Gas Networks Ireland (GNI) has been tasked by the government with developing a Strategic Gas Emergency Reserve (SGER). GNI has created a separate internal Project team which is responsible for progressing the SGER initiative which is responsible for developing a comprehensive business case and programme plan for delivery. There is a requirement for a Regulatory Analyst to support the regulatory and commercial activities under the Project. Reporting to the Regulatory and Commercial Manager, this position will involve leading economic and regulatory analysis to support the commercial and regulatory input into a Final Business Case for the Project. In parallel, it involves leading GNI’s interactions with gas industry stakeholders and forums as well as developing key commercial arrangements with gas market participants, in accordance with the business plan for the Project. The ability to ensure professional response/interactions with Regulatory Authorities, in all relevant jurisdictions, and with other key stakeholders by building strategic relations will be a key success factor to the role, as will the ability to forge strategic relationships with internal stakeholders.
Senior Product and Process Manager
As Product and Process Manager you will provide the expertise in defining processes and products to build on our leading edge telecommunications products that future proof our competitiveness. Generate new ideas and formulate differentiated market propositions tailored to different customer segments and channels. As a manager within Aurora, you will support overarching business strategy and goals, identify opportunities, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. You will support the Head of Technical regards sales and driving growth through new and existing services.
Network Planning Engineer
The Asset Management function within Gas Networks Ireland is responsible for optimising the return from the asset portfolio. Asset Management identify, plan and develop investment programmes while achieving an optimal balance between customer requirements, asset efficiency and risk. Asset Management considers the financial and regulatory effects of the proposed investment strategies. The Future Networks team within Asset Management is responsible for the long-term development of both the transmission and distribution gas network. Future Networks are responsible for development of the Network ensuring operational flexibility is sustained to maximise performance of the Network. Reporting to the Senior Network Planning Engineer, the Network Planning Engineer will carry out network analysis to support the business in its decision making and also produce and present annual publications to both internal and external stakeholders

Risk Manager
Reporting to the Head of Treasury and Risk, the Risk Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing GNI’s Enterprise Risk Management Policy and Framework and assisting our business in ensuring that appropriate risk management processes are in place to identify, measure, manage and monitor risks, and report our risk profile. The successful candidate will have a key role in coordinating reporting to the Board and external stakeholders along with working closely with other assurance functions ensuring the effectiveness of our Three Lines governance model. They will also work closely with colleagues across all levels of the organisation influencing behaviours to ensure risk management best practice is clearly demonstrated.
